Speaking: building a standards community
Standards-making can take time and isn't always popular. People don't like adopting change and don't like to feel that their previous ways of working are deemed to be “wrong”. Often the benefits of standardisation apply to only part of the community. At Tencastle, we have a many years experience of public speaking, particularly around system integration, interfaces and standards. We speak regularly at international conferences and standards events, putting the case in favour of working together and enabling better interaction through good interfaces and clear standards.
Training: keeping systems working together
Good standards reduce the need for training, with common meanings, common terminology and common practices. Our staff have run numerous training programmes, ranging from high level standards overviews through to technical standards and test training.
